Award Best PPP Model in Water Management

New Delhi, June 28, 2019: Arun Lakhani, Chairman and Managing Director of Vishvaraj Group received award for Best PPP Model in Water Management” from Hon’ble Shri. Gajendra Shekhawat, Minister Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation. The award was presented at mega water event “National Conference and Awards” by ASSOCHAM on June 28.  The Water Management Excellence Awards are constituted to acknowledge excellence in Water and the criteria of Awards are innovativeness, applicability, relevance, impact, contribution, benefits and potential in the respective areas of excellence in water services.

On the recognistion, Mr. Arun said, “It is indeed heartening to see one’s efforts being acknowledged at national forums and I sincerely thank ASSOCHAM and its industry partners for this recognition. I feel honored to receive the award at the hands of Hon’ble Shri. Gajendra ji Shekhawat, Ministrer for Jal Shakti and I honestly feel that the new government’s decision to integrate all ministries under one umbrella under the leadership of Shekhawat ji will go long way in addressing national water challenges. Such recognitions makes us more aware of our responsibilities towards the citizens, as a leading water utility. It also motivates us to continue innovate and provide solutions to the environment and urban infrastructure issues in a sustainable way for our future generations..”

Vishvaraj Environment is into water utility business and has business focus in 24×7 water supply and waste water treatment with reuse projects on PPP model. The company is implementing 24×7 projects in 7 towns serving population of 40 lacs and also executing 190 MLD of sewage treated water reuse project.

Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned integrated approach to water-related issues under the jal shakti ministry and to provide piped water to every rural home by 2024. Vishvaraj Environment under Mr. Arun Lakhani’s leadership is already working in this space and the companys vision is aligned with the national water agenda.
